Our love and prayers go to Jim Goodew and his family.   Jim’s son, Titus J. Goodew, 22 of Brainard MN, died  Sunday, February 6, 2011 at his home.  He was born February 29th, 1988 to Pastor Jim and Susie Goodew Brainard, MN. Titus loved life.  He was passionate about God’s creation enjoying hunting, fishing, trapping, and photography.  He loved to work, and there was never a job too long or hard for him.  Titus attended Cedarville University and Central Lakes College where he learned about landscaping.  In 2009, Titus started Living Waters Landscapers.  As an outstanding athlete, Titus took several teams to state in track, Nordic skiiing, and cross country running.  In college he excelled in the decathlon, mastering 10 different events and always pushing his teammates to jump higher, run faster, and last longer.  Titus’ teammates were a highlight of his life helping to form him into the successful man he was.   As a son, brother, and teammate he will be missed and forever remembered as a caring and passionate man.  He had a love for the Lord and those around him.  He was faithful member of Faith Baptist Church who served the Lord and strove to be a godly man.  His encouragement and support will be greatly missed.  Titus is survived by his parents Pastor Jim and Susie Goodew as well as three brothers, Eric Goodew, Caleb Goodew, and Jacob Goodew, along with his sisters Audree (Matt) Houchin, and Abby Goodew; and grandparents, Carroll and Audrey Goodew and Robert and Margaret Paswaters.
